Hairy Maclary
Monday, November 29th, 2010 07:49 pmDay 333 It's my friend's youngest son's 2nd birthday a week before Christmas, so in an effort not to get him something Christmassy, I bought this from Amazon for him:
Hairy Maclary is the dog on the front cover, and the book is an anthology of five Hairy Maclary stories. He's a dog with other dog friends of different breeds, and the stories are all told in rhyme (for example his dachshund friend is introduced as "Schnitzel von Krumm, with a very low tum") and in one story they meet a scary cat called Scratches. I can see me buying a copy for Bean at some point :)
