Advent Calendar At The Ready

Day 334 I have my Advent Calendar ready:

No pretence about this one being about anything other than chocolate, so it will probably stay in its slipcase on the bookshelf when I'm not raiding it. It's by Hotel Chocolat and is fully milk chocolate, they have a range this year so I went back to them - however much I try and pretend to be sophisticated I'm afraid anything more than the occasional plain chocolate is too much. But I'm confident I'll enjoy this, especially after the disappointment of the Lindt one last year.
My sister has her advent calendars up - she has the old ones we used to have when we were little, including the Mr Men calendar, the Nativity calendar that our Grandmother had, and the ones I coloured in and stuck together from The Brownie magazine - which by rights should be mine I would say, but the only one I'm bothered about is the one with the family calling with presents (it has stained-glass windows which I absolutely loved colouring in) and I don't even have room for that one to display properly, so if she has it and enjoys it - and especially if Bean likes it - then she can hang on to it. Oh, and apparently Bean also has her own advent calendar. I guess her mother talked her into it.
