Things I Bought Today

Day 302 A day off work, I decided not to go to Birmingham cos I didn't want Jellybeans badly enough, I'll save that for next month when I have a week off. Instead I went into town to do some not-quite-Christmas shopping. Here is a selection of purchases:

That's eight Lipsmacker lipsalves (£10 for the set from Claire's Accessories, bargain), and some of my Marks & Spencers purchases - I've always wanted a harmonica and they had some cheapo ones in the Christmas section, along with the USB Girl, which I think was a leftover from last year because it was the only pink one left. I'm not a fan of this kind of Pinkage, but I thought it would show up in my laptop bag a bit easier. I also bought some of their floral toiletries, they have little ones of everything in soap form, or shower gel form, or talc form, or bubble bath form. They were 3 for 2, I only really wanted the soaps and the talc, so I got another set which will be someone else's for Christmas.
I also bought more undies, (two sets of five - a red-cream set and a dark blue-turquoise set) and as I promised myself I had a clearout of the current crop. This left me with a net loss, but I think a gain in terms of useable undies as the ones I threw away are ones I don't wear. It also means I now have more good everyday underwear, and in various colours. I just have to make sure I don't let some get pushed to the back of the drawer for no reason.
