Having spent almost the entire time since Tuesday evening in my bedroom (I blame the grapes I had Tuesday afternoon, they gave my digestive system such a horrendous time I've been off work since) today I decided to venture outside. Mostly because I wanted to get some flowers for Mum - Mother's Day is tomorrow here. There's a Morrisons supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, I haven't been since they took it over from Somerfield. Eventually, my iPhone was updated with the new firmware and I was finally free to go.

It's not exactly a trip I'd recommend. Firstly there's a girl by the entrance trying to get you to buy a copy of the Sun, which is foul and offensive. Then there's a crowd round the flower stall, most of the flowers are generic bunches based on colour themes (orange/yellow or pink) but I managed to find two bunches of roses - one white, one fuchsia. I nearly ended up in a heap of flowers cos some guy clipped my ankle with his shopping trolley. I hadn't got firm plans of what else I wanted to get - I forgot about getting more cream crackers, but we've got plenty of other sorts so that's OK. I got a few odd things like Pringles (on offer and a new flavour they don't have at Sainsburys), a crisp and still-warm half-size French stick, and some on-offer Jarlsberg. They seem to do the same veggie stuff as Sainsburys, but with their own branding. I also bought some walking socks to try, cos they're £3 for a 3-pair set, although they have a high polyester mix they might be OK with my boots, walking socks have the advantage that they're taller then standard thick socks.


Tumblr news is that I have 181 followers, as opposed to 152 blogs I am following. Lots of Oregon pics recently, I find the place looks so magical and enchanted. All the Oregon posts here, the rest of my Tumblr here.
