I've never been to this part of Yorkshire, but it always looks inviting. Not really a jolly-pretty-seaside place, more of an adventure-stuff-to-do seaside place. The kind of place that quite suits the rain, that looks good au naturel.

About 10 years ago, in May. We flew into London for a spell before we kickstarted our European tour package. Then we went back, and the few days we had we spent touring London.

The first pic? It's actually the remains of an old abbey or priory, there's lots of them about the place in England. Altho none near where I live, I think they're more in places that didn't get completely bombed during the war, which these smaller places tended to escape.
