Christmas Shopping
Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 06:32 pmDay 320 Did some more Christmas shopping today, this time I drove into town. And if the current set of roadworks weren't enough, there were some new extra-special ones which turned a 10-minute drive into a 45-minute drive. But eventually I got parked, I always park in the car park attached to the main shopping centre, this was my view from my parking level down into the main area:
Got lots bought (am around half-way through), and some wrapped, but will need to buy more wrapping paper. Did my food shopping afterwards, wanted to buy Quorn mince (to make shepherd's pie) but they didn't have any. I've never cooked anything like shepherd's pie, or lasagne, and I'd like to learn, I'm sure it can't be all that difficult if a decent recipe is followed. Would've been nice to learn it at school, but all the teachers were busy having the vapours from a combination of encroaching vegetarianism and the arrival of the microwave oven so we made cheese on toast.
