I bought a new bag the other day, because I need something a bit bigger for Thursday. In the process of moving stuff to the new bag, I looked through a cache of letters I had in the old bag - only to find that one of them was a credit card payment that should have been posted at least two weeks ago. EEEEEP!!
Hopefully they'll not get too sniffy about it, it's the first late payment I've made and I've had a credit card with them for almost ten years.
I've also been buying new stuff for Thursday - I have an autograph book (well not really, it's a A5-A6 size plain-paper notebook), some new boots, and a fab new jacket. I hope all goes well - I keep checking the National Rail website to make sure the railway lines haven't been flooded or anything. So long as everything (including me) runs to time it should be fine. And I hope it will be, not least because I've been telling people about it - we're not far from Stratford-upon-Avon here, and two people at work have been to see David Tennant in Hamlet, with another going next week - so I guess this is my equivalent. Although I'd love to see Hamlet too, I wanted to go when Kenneth Branagh was Hamlet in Stratford back in the early 1990s, but no-one would go with me and I had no means of getting there on my own.
Oh, and DT's awesome as Hamlet according to my friends. And it's a really energetic performance all round, bits of it are really funny, which isn't something you expect from Hamlet.
