Forty Years

Today has been my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, and the house has been decorated with various ruby red things. Balloons, sprinkles, ribbons, flowers, and lots of cards. And they were very pleased with the vouchers we got for them - for here - and are currently thinking of going to Jersey in the spring.

So now it's back to normal - my aunt travels home tomorrow (she's been staying with us this weekend), and I have leftovers from the family buffet to take to work for lunch tomorrow. And half of my team at work is away on holiday so it's a bit too much on the quiet side for the next week.
