We knew it was going to be awesome for Team GB, but there were a few things to surprise us:

Gold - Sailing - Ben Ainslie, Finn class

Gold - Sailing - Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb, Pippa Wilson, Yngling class

Gold - Cycling - Rebecca Romero, individual pursuit

Gold - Rowing - Zac Purchase & Mark Hunter, lightweight double sculls

Silver - Cycling - Wendy Houvenaghel, individual pursuit

Silver - Rowing - women's quadruple sculls

Silver - Rowing - men's eights

Bronze - Gymnastics - Louis Smith, pommel horse

And as of close of play today, Team GB are third in the overall medals table:

We've had a fantastic weekend! It's all the more brilliant because we've had whole Olympic Games where we haven't achieved what we've done in a day here. But this is a wonderful way to gear up to hosting the next Olympics :D
