Saturday, January 14th, 2006 01:33 pmI did intend to post Thursday or Friday night. My previous lower-than-depressed mood lifted and as the week wore on, I was higher and zippier than a tent on a mountain-top. Sleeping only when complete exhaustion and thumping headache present themselves, sleeping for maybe five hours a night and feeling fine the next morning, it's a nice change. Of course it occurred to me that it might mean something freaky, but at the moment I don't care. I'm just going to enjoy it.
What it does mean is that late at night, I've been spending more time online (especially as the history of this net connection leads me to the approach of 'use it or lose it'. So, here are a few of my best links:
Webshots - the best combined screensaver and wallpaper cycler program there is. There's a freebie version, but you can subscribe (not for much, well worth it) and enjoy downloads from their full library and community pictures. You can also add your own pics from your PC to the program, or upload photos to your own community page.
TV Ark - a collection of television idents from the UK and around the world. I designed one myself when I was about twelve for a school project, and I think I made the right choice of avoiding graphic design as a career.
BBC - I always venture to the BBC news site first, but there's a whole bundle of stuff you never knew existed beyond this. Definitely worth checking out.
Wikipedia - crammed to the brim with information and knowledge about things you've heard of and things you haven't. Try the 'Random Article' link a few times and you'll see.
